No Live Sales, Commission Bidding OnlyAt Greasbys, we don't hold live or online auctions. Every bid is submitted as a commission bid after viewing the items in person at our premises. You'll need to register first, either by filling in a form at our office or by calling or emailing us, along with a fully refundable £100 deposit. Once registered, you can view items on the Tuesday before each auction and submit your bids by 5:00pm that same day.

Viewing the ItemsViewing takes place on the Tuesday before each auction, from 8:30am to 4:45pm. This is your only chance to inspect items before bidding.
Submitting Your BidBids must be submitted by email or in person by 5:00pm on the Tuesday of viewing. The minimum bid we accept is £8.00, and late bids can't be considered.
Collection & PaymentSuccessful bids carry a buyer's premium of 26% + VAT. Items must be collected on the Thursday following the auction, between 8:30am and 4:45pm.
Every auction follows the same simple three-day rhythm, held every two weeks. Once you know it, you'll always know where you stand.

Bring your items in, or send us some photos, and we'll let you know if we're able to take them into auction. Our standard fees are 25% commission plus a 2% insurance fee (plus VAT), with payment issued within 14 to 21 days of sale.
