How to Bid › Register to Bid
Thank you for your interest in bidding with Greasbys Auctioneers. Here is how to get registered and ready to bid at our next auction, Tuesday 27 October 2026.
Download the Left Bids Form below, fill it in and send it back to us as soon as possible. You can email it to us or bring it in to the office.
A £100 deposit is required, and it is fully refundable. It is paid by bank transfer, and our bank details are on the Left Bids Form.
Email us your full name and a contact phone number, if we don’t already have them.
Once we have received your form, confirmed your deposit and have your details, our office will call you to confirm your registration and email you a confirmation with your bid number. We will also talk you through the bidding process, so you feel fully confident before bidding.
Items are on view on the day of the sale, Tuesday 27 October, from 9.00am to 4.00pm at 211 Longley Road, Tooting.
Bids must be submitted by email or in person by 5.00pm on the day of the sale. The minimum bid we accept is £8.00, and late bids can’t be considered. When you leave a bid, please remember to allow for the buyer’s premium of 26% + VAT on the hammer price.
If you are successful, items can be collected on the Thursday following the auction, between 9.00am and 4.00pm. Items must be paid for and cleared by 4.00pm. It is your responsibility to confirm whether your bids have been successful and to collect on time. If you can’t collect in person, MBE Mail Boxes (0203 002 4099, info@mbewimbledon.co.uk) can collect, package and deliver on your behalf.
